Brief Sketch

Born on 01^st August 1976 at Jamshedpur (Jharkhand).  Studied at Vivek Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur; Graduated in Physics (Honours) fromRanchi University.  Obtained BLIS and MLIS degree from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi.  Had excellent academic recordall through first class.  Awarded BHU Gold medal for attending first position in University and SriDasJee Gold medal for securing highest marks in Library Science Course.  Won medals & prizes in various extracurricular activities and also awarded by Superitendent of Police (SP), Jamshedpur.  Did M.Sc (Physics) from Annamalai University and stood first.  Did Intellectual Property Right Course from WIPO, Switzerland. Worked in DESIDOC, DRDO, Ministry of Defence for approx 9 years.  Later joined asLibrarian of Judges Library, Delhi High Court.  Member of the Technical Documentation Committee, Bureau of Indian Standard, Govt. of India and Life Member of Indian Library Association.  WonDRDO Technology Group Award and Best Articles Awards along with various Rajbhasha award.

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. In a specific point of the journey, they had an argument and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one, who got slapped was hurt, but without anything to say, he wrote in the sand:

"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE"

They kept on walking untill they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who got slapped and hurt started drowing, and the other friend saved him. When he recovered from the fright, he wrote on a stone:

"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE"

The friend who slapped and saved his best friend, asked him, "why after I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now you write on a stone?"

THE other friend smiling replied, " WHEN A FRIEND HURT US, WE SHOULD IT DOWN IN THE SAND WHERE THE WINDS OF FORGIVENESS GET IN CHARGE OF ERASING IT AWAY, ANS WHEN SOMTHING GREAT HAPPENS, WESHOULD ENGRAVE IT IN THE STONE OF THE MEMORY OF THE HEART, WHERE NO WIND CAN ERASE IT."
